1. Toggling edit mode

1.1 How to enter and exit edit mode

Click the edit results button in the top right

You don’t need to worry about saving edits as you go along, any changes you make will be auto-saved (and version control explained below will ensure your original takeoff is preserved incase you want to go back).

Once you are happy with you results, click save in the bottom right, or click cancel to escape.

1.2 Version control

When you start editing we preserve the original AI takeoff under the versions button in the top right. You can click to go back to the AI takeoff you received.

Clicking to go back to the original AI V1 takeoff and clicking Edit results again will create a 3rd version etc.

2. Repositioning measurements

2.1 Moving measurements

Double check any measurement (area, linear or count) to start editing that individual measurement. The measurement can be dragged to reposition it.

2.2 Adding new nodes to linear measurements and areas

First enter the edit more for that specific measurement by double clicking it. Right click anywhere along a linear measurement or area measurement element, a menu will pop up. From here you can click add a node here and then this added node can be dragged and repositioned.
